About RRSA
Rottweiler Rescue SA Inc is a non-profit registered charitable organisation, offering an emergency service for Rottweilers on 'death row'. We are not a basic re-homing service.
Our organisation is here for the breed protecting its welfare and gaining considerable positive PR for the Rottweiler. This is greatly needed in South Australia as there is no other alternative breed specific service in this State.
We are a small group of dedicated Rottweiler owners and breeders who are highly experienced in the breed, characteristics and behaviour. We have a genuine desire to give something back to our wonderful breed.
Our objective is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Rottweilers who have been abandoned, mistreated, lost or by other means are left without a loving home. We do not have a shelter, our rescue is run out of our own homes and the homes of our great foster carers.
The alternative for many of these dogs is to be euthanized.
We work with animal welfare agencies in Rottweiler adoption. We aim to educate the public on the Rottweiler behaviour, characteristics and promote responsible ownership and handling.
