Becoming a Foster Carer
We are always in need of experienced and suitable foster homes for our rescue dogs.
Foster carers voluntarily provide emergency homing for the Rottweilers immediately after they are rescued.
Some of the things involved in fostering a rescued dog are:
Taking the dogs to veterinary appointments.
Rehabilitating sick or injured dogs.
Providing human interaction with the dogs.
Socialising the dogs in a controlled environment to assess their interaction with children and other animals.
Monitoring for any signs of illness or injury.
Provide an assessment and evaluation to RRSA about the dog which will contribute to the assessment of a suitable adoption home.
Foster carers must have previous experience with Rottweilers.
If you think you have the experience and would be interested in becoming a foster carer please contact us for an application form.
